How Do They Work?
A ChemSet Maxima capsule is a small glass capsule pre-filled with two components: an acrylic-based adhesive and a peroxide hardener. Each capsule is a single dose, pre-measured and sealed ready to go.
Installation is straightforward. You drill your hole to the required diameter and depth, clean it out thoroughly, then insert the capsule. A threaded stud is placed in a rotary hammer set to rotation-only mode, then spun through the capsule. The glass shatters, the two components mix together, and the resulting mortar bonds the stud firmly to the base material, be it concrete, stone or masonry.
