Square SHS Columns

G&S Industries' Square Columns are mainly used for smaller floodlighting applications such as decorative area lighting , shopping malls , sports court lighting , car parks , schools , parks and for commercial and residential developments. Square Columns are aesthetically suited to the mounting of rectangular shoebox light fittings as shown.

Our standard range of Square Columns is manufactured from SHS (Square Hollow Section) and designed to meet Australian Design Standards incorporating resultant wind actions in structural designs. Individual computerised engineering is available on all our columns.

Our standard Square Columns range from 4 metres to 12 metres , however we can design and manufacture columns to any height and width to suit the specific requirements of our clients. They are supplied standard as baseplate mounted , however can also be supplied as direct burial.

Due to the size and dimension of the square section , these columns are better suited to lights that have integral control gear. However , they can be designed with a larger base in a stepped pipe configuration to carry lighting control gear in the base section of the column.

Columns are supplied galvanized and can be painted or powder coated in a variety of colours. (Please see the "Specifications" section for a link to Powder Coating Colour Charts).

G&S Industries' Square SHS Columns are supplied ex works from Osborne Park or can be delivered throughout Australia and overseas.
